Most people experience nausea from time to time. Sometimes nausea is part of an underlying illness, such as a virus, but it is typically short-lived. For people withinflammatory bowel disease (IBD), nausea may occur along with other signs and symptoms of the disease, such as a reduced appetite and pain or abdominal cramping.

Nausea that comes and goes can make life difficult, but there are some things that can be done at home to manage it.

Sodium Bicarbonate
